Escrow Policy

Effective Date: July 1, 2026

Welcome to AdminDeal

At AdminDeal, we are committed to providing a secure, transparent, and trustworthy marketplace for buyers and freelancers.

To help protect both parties during eligible transactions, AdminDeal offers an Escrow process designed to reduce payment risks, encourage fair business practices, and provide additional confidence throughout the project lifecycle.

This Escrow Policy explains how the AdminDeal Escrow process works and should be read together with our Terms & Conditions, Buyer Policy, Seller Policy, Refund Policy, and other applicable platform policies.

What Is Escrow?

Escrow is a secure transaction process where funds are received through an approved payment method and managed according to the agreed transaction workflow before becoming eligible for release.

The purpose of this process is to provide additional protection for both buyers and freelancers while helping reduce disputes and payment-related risks.

How the Escrow Process Works

The standard escrow workflow on AdminDeal is as follows:

  1. The buyer and freelancer agree on the project scope, pricing, and delivery requirements.
  2. The buyer proceeds with payment using an approved payment method available on the AdminDeal platform.
  3. Once the payment is successfully received and confirmed, the order moves into the escrow process.
  4. The freelancer is notified that payment confirmation has been received and may begin work.
  5. The freelancer delivers the agreed work through the AdminDeal platform.
  6. The buyer reviews the delivered work.
  7. Where applicable, AdminDeal may review the transaction to help ensure compliance with platform policies.
  8. Once the transaction is completed according to the applicable workflow, the payment becomes eligible for release to the freelancer.

Escrow Protection

The escrow process is intended to:

  • Provide additional confidence for buyers.
  • Help freelancers work with verified payment confirmation.
  • Reduce payment-related disputes.
  • Encourage transparent communication.
  • Support fair marketplace transactions.

Payment Confirmation

A freelancer should begin work only after receiving confirmation through the AdminDeal platform that the order has entered the approved payment workflow.

Payments arranged outside the platform are not protected under this Escrow Policy.

Delivery of Work

Freelancers are responsible for:

  • Delivering the agreed services.
  • Meeting the agreed project requirements.
  • Uploading deliverables through the platform where available.
  • Communicating professionally throughout the project.

Buyer Review

After delivery, buyers should review the submitted work within a reasonable period.

If revisions are included in the purchased service, revision requests should remain within the original project scope.

Requests beyond the agreed scope may require a separate agreement or additional order.

Payment Hold

For selected transactions, AdminDeal may apply a payment hold period before funds become eligible for release.

The standard holding period may be up to seven (7) calendar days, depending on the transaction, platform policies, operational requirements, fraud prevention measures, or other risk management considerations.

During the hold period, AdminDeal may review the transaction to help protect both parties and maintain marketplace integrity.

Disputes

If a disagreement arises between the buyer and freelancer, AdminDeal may review the available information, communications, uploaded files, and other relevant records to assist in resolving the matter in accordance with our published policies.

Both parties are expected to cooperate during the review process.

Fraud Prevention

AdminDeal reserves the right to delay, suspend, or review transactions where suspicious activity is detected.

Examples may include:

  • Identity verification concerns.
  • Unusual transaction behaviour.
  • Fraud indicators.
  • Payment verification issues.
  • Policy violations.

Additional information may be requested before a transaction proceeds.

Off-Platform Transactions

To maintain platform security and escrow protection, buyers and freelancers should complete payments and project communications through AdminDeal wherever applicable.

Transactions completed outside the AdminDeal platform may not be eligible for the protections described in this Policy.

Escrow Administration

AdminDeal may use designated escrow administrators to assist in reviewing eligible transactions, resolving disputes, verifying information, and supporting the escrow workflow.

These administrators operate in accordance with AdminDeal’s internal procedures and platform policies.

Limitations

While AdminDeal strives to provide a secure marketplace, participation in the escrow process does not guarantee that every transaction will be free from disputes, delays, or other issues.

AdminDeal reserves the right to review each case individually based on the available information and applicable policies.

Policy Updates

AdminDeal may update this Escrow Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, operational procedures, legal requirements, or business practices.

The latest version will always be published on this page.

Continued use of the AdminDeal platform after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Escrow Policy.
